[Typical Properties]

When crystallized: white or light yellow crystals. When melting: colorless or light yellow liquid.

There is a smell of phenol. The solubility in water reaches 2.3% at 40℃and 5% at 100℃. Soluble in caustic soda and commonly used organic solvents.

Used in the production of antioxidant 2,6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol, rubber anti-aging agent, cresol formaldehyde resin and plasticizer, used as a disinfectant in medicine, and also used in the production of dyes and petroleum antioxidants;

Mainly used for manufacturing natural rubber and synthetic rubber antioxidants, plastic antioxidants, fuel stabilizers, UV absorbers, pesticides, dye intermediates, etc. The main varieties include antioxidants 1010, 1076, 702, 3114, 4426, methyl 4426-S, 2002, 330, 1098, 1088, etc.
