Yellow to brown liquid.Extremely hygroscopic. The melting point of crystals containing 18H2O is 37 ℃. It can be mixed with organic solvents such as tetrahydrofuran, acetonitrile, and dimethyl sulfoxide.

Usage

*Selective fluorination catalysts and fluorinating agents, as well as silane protective group removers in chemical synthesis.

*Phase transfer catalysts in organic synthesis chemistry, such as halogen displacement reactions, oxidation-reduction reactions, N-alkylation, dichlorocarbones, and other reactions.
