[Typical Properties]

Easy to dissolve in water (1:0.8, 25 ℃) and glycerol (1:5), soluble in 95% ethanol (1:11), almost insoluble in ether, chloroform, and benzene. The aqueous solution is slightly acidic (pH 5-6). Turning pink in prolonged exposure to light. No odor or slightly special odor, sweet and uncomfortable.
