*N-Methylimidazole acts as a cationic precursor and undergoes quaternization reaction to synthesize imidazolium based ionic liquids; 

*Used as curing agents, adhesives, etc. for epoxy resins and other resins

*It can be widely used for epoxy resin bonding, coating, casting, encapsulation, impregnation, and composite materials.
