Triethyl citrate is a non-toxic plasticizer widely used as a plasticizer in cellulose resin and vinyl resin. It can effectively improve the foaming performance and swelling state of baked goods as a swelling retention agent in food. As an antioxidant, it is used to stabilize soybean oil, salad oil, artificial cream, shortening oil, and other chemical edible oils. As a fragrance enhancer, it can be used in soft drinks, cold drinks, candies, and baked goods to enhance flavor. It is also used as a chelating agent and carrier solvent. It is especially suitable for the industries such as ink coating, non-toxic PVC granulation, pharmaceutical industry, children's soft toys, medical products, essence blending, cosmetics manufacturing, etc.
