[Typical Properties]

Melting point 125, soluble in general organic solvents (such as acetone, benzene, dimethylformamide, ethanol, polyethylene glycol, etc.), slightly soluble in water (1.5g dissolved in 100g of water at 25). Its aqueous solution is relatively stable under acidic conditions and easily hydrolyzes under alkaline conditions. Increasing the pH value, heating, and irradiation with ultraviolet or fluorescence can greatly accelerate its dissolution rate. Easy to be reduced by reducing agents, such as hydrogen sulfide de bromination, to non-toxic cyanoacetic acid amine, greatly reducing the bactericidal rate. When its pH value changes from 6.7 to 9.7, the half-life also changes from 37.0 hours to 0.11 hours.

DBNPA is a broad-spectrum and efficient industrial bactericide, which is used to prevent the growth and propagation of bacteria and algae in paper making, industrial circulating cooling water, metal processing lubricating oil, pulp, wood, paint and plywood. It can also be used as a slime control agent and is widely used in paper mill pulp and circulating cooling water systems. As a broad-spectrum and efficient biocide, it can quickly penetrate the cell membrane of microorganisms and act on certain protein groups to stop the normal oxidation and reduction of cells, thus causing cell death. At the same time, its branches can also selectively brominate or oxidize the special enzyme metabolites of microorganisms, eventually leading to the death of microorganisms. This product has good peeling performance, no foam when used, and the liquid product and water can be miscible at any ratio, with low toxicity.
