Colorless transparent liquid, with fat and fruit aroma, sweet taste. Boiling point 157 ℃, relative density 0.819, and can be miscible with ethanol, propylene glycol, and oil. There is a light green aroma of tender branches and leaves, with a slight aroma of wine, fruit, and fat. 1-hexanol or its carboxylic acid esters are present in trace amounts in citrus fruits, berries, etc. Tea and various essential oils such as lavender oil, banana, apple, strawberry, and violet leaf oil are also present.
